Diaper Bank

The Junior League of Panama City Diaper Bank is our League’s largest community outreach initiative, created to address the growing need for diapers among families in Bay County and surrounding communities.

Diaper need is a serious issue affecting 1 in 2 families in the United States. Babies require 8–10 diapers a day, and without access to clean, dry diapers, parents are forced to make difficult choices that can impact their child’s health, wellbeing, and even their ability to attend work or school. The JLPC Diaper Bank exists to help relieve this burden by supplying diapers to local nonprofit and community partner organizations, who then distribute them directly to families in need.

Each month, our volunteers work together to collect, wrap, and distribute thousands of diapers to partner agencies across multiple counties. These diapers support children and families who otherwise might go without. By partnering with schools, service organizations, and healthcare providers, we are able to reach those most vulnerable and ensure that diapers are available when they are needed most.

The JLPC Diaper Bank is committed to:

  • Supporting families by alleviating diaper need and promoting child health and dignity.
  • Partnering with local organizations to strengthen community impact and ensure diapers reach those in need efficiently.
  • Engaging volunteers in meaningful service that connects them to the community and develops leadership skills.
  • Raising awareness about diaper need and advocating for sustainable solutions.

Through this initiative, the Junior League of Panama City continues to live out its mission of advancing women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Every diaper we wrap and distribute represents hope, health, and support for families in our community.
